Every single pound that Hounds for Heroes receives makes a huge impact on our ability to train, partner and support our life-enhancing dogs.

We need your donations to prepare our dogs to live and work beside those who have been injured and disabled serving the people of this country.

Hounds for Heroes does not receive any Government funding. We rely entirely on the generosity of the public whose donations and support enable us to deliver our mission.

Creating and supporting a partnership

Each partnership costs £51,500 from selection and purchase of a puppy right through to the end of the dog’s working life when it retires at the age of 10 years old. Our dogs are fully supported by the Charity throughout their working life and the Charity uniquely bears the cost of food, insurance and veterinary treatments.

  • Selection and purchase of a puppy.
  • Training equipment, toys, vet bills, insurance, food, training treats and transport.
