Welcome to the team Sean!

Sean joined us earlier this month as our new Dog Training Manager, following 34 years of dedicated service in the Metropolitan Police, where he spent over 20 years working with service dogs, first as a handler and later as a training instructor at the MPS Dog Training Establishment.

Sean leads our talented team of trainers and oversees the full training journey and welfare of our dogs, from bouncy puppies to advanced assistance dogs and even into their aftercare once placed with a partner.

When he’s not caring for the Hounds for Heroes dogs, Sean is with Daisy, his retired Police Dog and loyal Labrador companion. At 11 years young, she’s enjoying a well-earned retirement and no doubt keeping Sean on his toes at home!

Away from work, Sean enjoys swimming, reading and escaping to the coast whenever he can.
