Vote for Louis!
In an incredible display of resilience and dedication, Nick Johnson, Former Hounds for Heroes Trustee, and his loyal rescue dog, Louis, embarked on an extraordinary challenge in 2024. Together, they walked 2,300 miles along England’s stunning coastline, raising an astonishing £60,000 for Ovarian Cancer Action in memory of Nick’s late wife, Lisa. Lisa bravely fought ovarian cancer for eight years before sadly passing away in 2023.
Nick adopted Louis, an English Setter in 2022. Their epic journey began on 10th March 2024 at Highcliffe Castle in Dorset and lasted an incredible 162 days. Along the way, they met hundreds of supporters, raising vital awareness about ovarian cancer and the importance of early diagnosis. Watch their amazing story below.
