Please join us in welcoming our two newest recruits, Minnie and Fletcher!
These adorable 12-week-old Black Labrador littermates are settling beautifully into their Puppy Parent families. Full of curiosity, confidence and those irresistible puppy paws, they’ve begun the very first steps on their journey to becoming life-changing assistance dogs.
Meet Minnie:
Minnie’s name holds special significance. The founder of The Forces Trust was a remarkable lady called Minnie, whose legacy was to leave her entire estate to Armed Forces charities.
Minnie is settling in brilliantly with her Puppy Parent family and is already exploring the world through gentle socialisation and play the important first puppy steps in her future training.

Meet Fletcher:
Fletcher is named in honour of his generous sponsors, The Worshipful Company of Fletchers, whose historic craft was making arrows used in warfare.
Fletcher is settling in brilliantly with his Puppy Parent family. He picks up new things quickly, loves learning, and is already establishing a solid routine, a wonderful start to his assistance dog journey.
We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and commitment of both organisations. Their support helps puppies like Fletcher and Minnie grow into confident, skilled assistance dogs who will one day transform the lives of physically disabled members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services.

For now… we’re simply delighted to welcome these two little stars into the Hounds for Heroes family.
