Pickle’s got her poppy on and she’s wearing it proudly for today’s launch of the Royal British Legion’s 2026 Poppy Appeal.
Pickle is one of our assistance dogs in training, and her connection to the Armed Forces starts with her name. The Senior Rates’ Mess at HMS Victory named her after HMS Pickle.
Across the country, volunteers are picking up their collection tins and people are giving what they can. Together, they help the Royal British Legion be there for serving personnel, veterans and their families when they need support.
To everyone collecting or giving, and to the Royal British Legion team who are there for the Armed Forces community all year round, thank you.
