National Lottery Grant Supports Future Assistance Dogs
Hounds for Heroes is delighted to have received a £10,000 grant from The National Lottery Community Fund, helping us invest in the next generation of life-changing assistance dogs.
The funding will support the purchase of new puppy recruits and contribute towards their specialist training, care and development as they progress towards becoming trusted assistance dogs for physically disabled serving and former members of HM Armed Forces and UK Emergency Services.
Every puppy begins a unique journey that includes early socialisation, advanced training and partnership preparation before going on to transform the life of their future partner. This funding helps ensure more dogs can begin that journey.
We are incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund and to every National Lottery player. Every ticket purchased helps support charities like Hounds for Heroes and makes funding like this possible.
Thank you for helping us continue creating life-changing assistance dog partnerships.
