To celebrate International Dog Day, we’re delighted to introduce Jack, the latest recruit to our Puppy Training programme.
Jack is a Yellow Labrador who joined us in mid-2026 and has already settled beautifully into life with his Puppy Parents. Wonderfully chilled and laid-back, he is taking these important early experiences calmly in his stride, usually with plenty of naps along the way.
His name honours Jack the Airedale, a heroic messenger dog who served during the First World War. His courage under fire helped save the lives of an entire battalion, giving our young Jack a remarkable name and some very big pawprints to follow.
For now, Jack is focused on building the confidence, skills and foundations he will need as he progresses through his training. These early stages will introduce him to new people, places and experiences, helping prepare him for the possibility of a future Assistance Dog partnership.
Jack’s journey is generously sponsored by Gulfstream Aerospace. Their support will help provide the specialist training and care he needs throughout his time with us, and we’re incredibly grateful to have them alongside him from the beginning.
We would also like to thank Jack’s breeder for giving him such a wonderful start and his Puppy Parents for welcoming him into their home and guiding him through these important first steps.
