Meet Harley, a Yellow Labrador with plenty of adventures already under his collar!
Harley has joined Hounds for Heroes to begin his journey towards becoming an Assistance Dog. He was named and sponsored by Hogsback Chapter Surrey, whose generous fundraising and support over many years have helped make this possible.
His name is a nod to Harley-Davidson motorcycles and their military history, continuing the Armed Forces connection behind our dogs’ names.
Since joining, Harley has been busy getting to know the world. He’s enjoyed trips to the beach, explored new places from his puppy sling and taken a keen interest in the local ducks. He’s even been on his first holiday!
Alongside all those adventures, Harley has passed his Puppy Foundation training, a brilliant first milestone.
These early experiences help our puppies build confidence, learn everyday skills and feel comfortable in different surroundings, laying the foundations for their future training.
A huge thank you to Hogsback Chapter Surrey, Harley’s Puppy Parent family and trainer for helping him get off to such a lovely start. We look forward to sharing his progress!
