Meet Biggles, a New Hounds for Heroes Recruit
We're delighted to introduce Biggles, one of the newest recruits to the Hounds for Heroes family.
Biggles joined us thanks to the incredible support of RAF High Wycombe Thrift Shop, whose fundraising helped sponsor the next stage of his journey towards becoming a life-changing assistance dog.
The Thrift Shop raised an amazing £5,000, made possible through the generosity of customers and supporters who donated items and shopped throughout the year.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to RAF High Wycombe Thrift Shop volunteers, including Sqn Ldr Claire Mepham-Stone and Sqn Ldr Sharon Stowers, for their dedication and commitment to supporting Hounds for Heroes. Their hard work has helped give Biggles the very best start on his journey.
As Biggles progresses through training, he will develop the skills and confidence needed to support a physically disabled serving or former member of HM Armed Forces or the UK Emergency Services.
Thank you to everyone who helped make Biggles' journey possible.
