Hounds for Heroes Marks Reserves Day 2026
Today, on Reserves Day, Hounds for Heroes proudly recognises the dedication and commitment of the thousands of Reservists who serve alongside the Regular Armed Forces.
Balancing civilian careers, family life and military commitments, Reservists play a vital role in supporting operations both in the UK and overseas. Making up around one sixth of the UK's Armed Forces personnel, they bring invaluable skills, expertise and experience across a wide range of specialist roles.
As a charity supporting physically disabled serving and former members of HM Armed Forces and the UK Emergency Services, we are proud to recognise the contribution Reservists make to our Armed Forces and the wider defence community.
