Hounds for Heroes Marks International Paramedics Day
Today, on International Paramedics Day, we recognise the skill, compassion and professionalism of paramedics across the UK who bring calm, care and expertise when people need them most.
Whether responding to life-threatening emergencies or providing vital care within their communities, paramedics make a difference to people's lives every single day through their dedication, resilience and commitment.
At Hounds for Heroes, we are proud to support physically disabled serving and former members of the UK Emergency Services, including paramedics. When injury or illness changes a paramedic's life, we stand alongside them, partnering them with a specially trained assistance dog to help them regain confidence and independence in everyday life.
Today, we thank all paramedics for the extraordinary work they do and for the care they provide to communities across the UK.
