A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Hounds HQ for our Information Morning. It was lovely to welcome you and share what goes into raising an assistance dog, as well as what life together can look like once a partnership begins.
Ryan, who’s partnered with assistance dog Comet, shared what having Comet by his side means to him and the difference it makes to his everyday life. Puppy Parent Donna took us back to where it all begins, talking about what goes into raising a Hounds pup and helping them grow in confidence. Thank you both for giving us a chance to hear about those two parts of life at Hounds from the people who know them best.
Chelsea and our dog training team showcased some of the everyday tasks our assistance dogs learn, so visitors could see that practical support in action. Chelsea was in her element meeting everyone and, of course, made the most of all that attention!
