Hounds for Heroes becomes an ADI Candidate Member
We are proud to announce that Hounds for Heroes has become a Candidate Member of Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and Assistance dogs UK (ADUK)
For almost 40 years, ADI has set global standards for assistance dog training, ethics and animal welfare. Becoming a Candidate Member marks an important milestone for Hounds for Heroes as we work towards full accreditation and continue strengthening everything we do.
Scramble was the first puppy to join our training programme after we became a Candidate Member, marking the beginning of this chapter in our journey.
Reaching this point has been made possible by the dedication of our staff, volunteers, Puppy Parents, Full-time Fosterers and supporters. Their commitment helps us continue training and partnering assistance dogs with physically disabled members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services.
We are delighted to share this news during International Assistance Dog Week and look forward to continuing our work as part of ADI’s global community.
