Hounds for Heroes is proud to have been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award.
The Silver Award recognises organisations that demonstrate a strong and ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and upholding the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant.
As a charity providing specially trained assistance dogs to physically disabled serving and former members of HM Armed Forces and UK Emergency Services, supporting those who serve and have served is at the heart of everything we do. From assisting beneficiaries to working alongside veterans, reservists, volunteers and supporters, we are committed to creating opportunities for the Armed Forces community to thrive.
Receiving the Silver Award is recognition of that commitment and the values that underpin our work every day.
We are delighted to receive this award and would like to thank everyone who helps make our work possible.
Together, we will continue supporting those who have served our country and communities with the independence, confidence and freedom that an assistance dog partnership can bring.
