Anne Takes on Spinnaker Tower Abseil for Hounds for Heroes
A huge thank you to Anne, the Lady Captain of the Ladies Section at Army Golf Club Aldershot, who took on the incredible challenge of a 100-metre abseil down the Spinnaker Tower to raise funds for Hounds for Heroes.
Despite battling windy conditions, Anne completed the challenge with determination and courage, helping raise vital funds to support our life-changing assistance dog partnerships for physically disabled serving and former members of HM Armed Forces and UK Emergency Services.
Reflecting on the experience, Anne said:
"I was exhilarated, exhausted and very pleased to have been able to support such a wonderful charity... never again!"
Anne was joined by family, fellow golf club members and supporters from the Portsmouth Marauders, who travelled from Aldershot to Portsmouth to cheer her on throughout the challenge.
