A huge thank you to Anne, the Captain of Ladies Section, Aldershot Golf Club for taking on the challenge of a 100m descent down the Spinnaker Tower for Hounds for Heroes. Anne also had the “summer” weather to contend with of the wind and rain! After the abseil, Anne told us “I felt exhilarated, exhausted and very pleased to have been able to support such a wonderful charity but……… never again”.
Anne was supported on the day by her family and other members of the golf club as well as the Portsmouth Mauraders who cycled 45 miles from Aldershot to Portsmouth to watch! All of your support really makes a difference to our Charity and is much appreciated. Anne you were abseil’ lutely brilliant!
