Comet is progressing really well through his advanced training! He’s now confidently attending HQ for longer sessions, enjoying his work and settling comfortably in between.
Recent focuses have included wheelchair work in town environments, practising lift sequences, completing task work such as pick-ups in busy areas and continuing public transport training. Comet has adapted brilliantly, settling calmly on both buses and trains.
One area of ongoing development is staying calm during health checks, as a naturally wriggly boy, this takes patience! With consistent practice, he’s making steady improvement.
Outside of training, Comet is making the most of the autumn sunshine, proving he’s just as talented at relaxing as he is at working!
