Today on 999 Day, we honour the incredible members of the NHS and Emergency Services who dedicate their lives to protecting and caring for us all. Their courage, sacrifice and commitment keep our communities safe every single day.
At Hounds for Heroes, we are proud to give back to these heroes by providing specially trained assistance dogs to members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services, past or present, who are living with a physical disability. It is our privilege to support those who have given so much in service to others.
On this Emergency Services Day, we say thank you to the 999 community, past and present, professionals and volunteers for your service.
If you are serving or have served in the Armed Forces or Emergency Services and think you could benefit from an assistance dog, we would love to hear from you.
