In a heartfelt acknowledgement of support, Hounds for Heroes extends its deepest appreciation to The Grocers' Charity for their recent grant.
This generous contribution will play a key role in empowering our charity to uphold its vital mission of providing specially trained assistance dogs to those serving or who have served in the HM Armed Forces and Emergency Services.
The Grant provided by The Grocers' Charity is not merely a financial boost, but a symbol of solidarity and recognition for the hard work of staff, volunteers, supporters and of course our dogs and their partners. With this support we can continue to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have selflessly served our communities and nation.
We have now reached a major milestone within the charity, as we embark on this next chapter of placing successor dogs with our Partners to take over as their current assistance dogs retire. This generous grant will enable us to support puppy training from age 8 weeks to 1 year and eventually place a dog, helping us to train our dogs ready to take over and ensure our partners continue to be supported.
