Greenwich Hospital Logo

We are absolutely thrilled to receive a substantial grant from Greenwich Hospital who are a unique Crown body and the oldest provider of Royal Navy charity. They are governed by the Greenwich Hospital Acts 1865 – 1996 and the Defence (Transfer of Functions) Act 1964. The Secretary of State for Defence is responsible for the governance of Greenwich Hospital on behalf of the Sovereign and as a representative of the Crown, acting in execution of the Greenwich Hospital Acts for the exclusive benefit of Greenwich Hospital.

Greenwich Hospital work with charities and other organisations to fund work that improves health and well-being and empowers people to realise their potential. This funding will continue to support our mission of placing specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled personnel of HM Armed Forces and Emergency Services, specifically in this instance, supporting beneficiaries who served in the Royal Navy.  Thank you to Greenwich Hospital for this extremely generous funding.
