Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is a simple, tax-efficient way to support Hounds for Heroes with regular donations straight from your salary at no extra cost to you.
How Payroll Giving Works
Also known as Workplace Giving or Give As You Earn (GAYE), Payroll Giving allows you to donate directly from your pre-tax salary. This means your donation costs you less while Hounds for Heroes receives the full amount. You can start, stop, or change your donation at any time.
Example of Payroll Giving:
You donate: £10 per month
Actual cost to you: £8 (*£6 if you’re a higher-rate taxpayer)
Hounds for Heroes receives: £10
Once set up, your donation is automatically deducted from your salary, making it an easy way to provide ongoing support.
How to Set Up Payroll Giving
To start your regular donation to Hounds for Heroes through your salary, you can either:
1. Speak to your employer and they’ll be able to help set this up for you. Once they have processed your Payroll Giving request, your gift will be made directly from your salary to Hounds for Heroes each payday.
