Garry is a serving Police Sergeant working for SussexPolice. He became involved with HoundsFor Heroes after running his first ever marathon for the charity in June2010. This gave him the opportunity tomeet the team; he was so inspired that he and his wife Martina have continued tohelp out at charity functions and other events.

Garry served in the Royal Navy before joining the police andhis family have a military background. Heis fitness enthusiast, which motivated him to start up and run the West SussexFitness Club within the police. He has threerescue dogs (two of which often accompany him on his shorter runs) and twocats.

He lives in Hampshire with his daughter Hannahand his son Daniel; he enjoys football, music and running and is fullycommitted to providing the best possible support to the charity as a trustee.
