This Hound gets the Pounds

Do you know how difficult it is to take a nice photo of an assistance dog putting a card in an ATM, while there is a film crew in the way? Anyway the photo above is Endal putting a card into an ATM, quite an essential part of life and one that able bodied people take for granted. But if you have hands that tremble then this fairly simple task can become extremely difficult, that is why our assistance dogs are trained to do this function, and a lot more, then you will have lots of money for going down the pub, or shopping to get that latest dress, maybe even buy your dog a nice treat!

The Assistance Dog

We thought you might like to see images of what an assistance dog can do (link at top left of page). As can be seen an assistance dog brings a quality to the life of the recipient that has been sadly lacking for a while. This can be going to library, shops, out on a train journey and many others things. There are there for the comradeship and help out if an emergency occurs, truly remarkable animals.

The Hound's Gallery

The Hounds Gallery (click on the link at the top left of this page) is a collection of images that show the great work that our charity and wonderful assistance dogs do. There is also some images of our supporter dogs, or reservists as we like to call them. The dog on the right is Berkeley and he owns our Chairman, Wayne. He is a rescue dog and came form Labrador Rescue South East and Central.
